philomenacato 17 Nov, 2014
Hello,

I am new to Chronoforms and databases. I have a multipage form created and it has alot of issues.
I am seeing an error for my form in the list of forms. but i do not know how to know what that error is.

I am not receiving emails after submit. I added the email action and added the settings. It is not sending the email. I added the dynamic to because the person will enter their email address in a text field.

I would like to have text labels for some pages but I am not sure how to do this. I have a page that has three columns and three rows of text boxes and each column needs the same information. How do I add the label above the section?

I would like to calculate some fields. How do I do this?

I have a submit button that is only letting me see text onhover. How do I change the color of the text on the submit button?

Once I get everything saved to the database, how can I see this information and export it?
Hi philomenacato,

a) I am seeing an error for my form in the list of forms. but i do not know how to know what that error is.

What error exactly are you seeing?

b) I am not receiving emails after submit. I added the email action and added the settings. It is not sending the email. I added the dynamic to because the person will enter their email address in a text field.

There is a typo in the From Email address that may be causing the problem. Please test with a second email using a Static To address and see if that works OK.

c) I would like to have text labels for some pages but I am not sure how to do this. I have a page that has three columns and three rows of text boxes and each column needs the same information. How do I add the label above the section?

Use Custom Code elements to add text or HTML to your form.

d) I would like to calculate some fields. How do I do this?

Either with JavaScript in the browser or with PHP in a Custom Code action after the form is submitted (or possibly both).

e) I have a submit button that is only letting me see text onhover. How do I change the color of the text on the submit button?

Add CSS to get the styles you want. The button styling setting the font color white is coming from your template CSS.

f) Once I get everything saved to the database, how can I see this information and export it?

You can view it using the ChronoForms data viewer but this is a bit limited. PHPMyAdmin will work if you have access. Or you can build a Custom listing.

You can export the data using a CSV Export action in a ChronoForm.
