How do I add captcha in Chronoforms 5?

emills01 03 Nov, 2014
I found a video showing step-by-step instructions on adding captcha to Chronoforms 4 but I don't see anything for Chronoforms 5. Could I get detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to add it?

I dragged the box into the form designer but it isn't showing in the actual form; it just says {ReCaptcha} where the image should be.

Hi emills,

Same steps of v4 but you have to add the "Load ReCaptcha" action ABOVE the HTML action in v5

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?

Hi emills01,

Although the video is old and the admin layout has changed a bit the process is the same. It sounds as though you have added a ReCaptcha element from the Advanced group in the Designer tab instead of a Captcha element from the Basic Group.
