Form not so "Responsive"

jack.adach@gmail.com 02 Oct, 2014
Hi There,

I'm having issues with making a form "responsive".
When I leave the "size" parameter empty the field is too short, 100% makes it too long and not responsive, filling the "size" parameter with a number (37 in my case) makes it the right size but again not responsive. I need all the fields, including the drop-downs to occupy the designated publishing area and respond to the screen size changes.
Right now every field is of different size, textfield is different then textarea is different then the drop-down.
Yes, the "Bootstrap3" is selected as the Form Theme.
What do I need to do to accomplish this?

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Jack

Hi Jack,

I don't think that the size attribute is the best solution for dynamic sizing.. More likely is that you use CSS and maybe set the input widths to 100% and size the container div to the current screen size.

Thanks Bob,

But I didn't have time to play with this. I expected this to work this way "out of the box".
I just contacted the Tech Support, I will see how they respond.

Hi,

Please clear the size boxes, and set the class to "F", that may give you the desired effect.
