Setup to save data when visitors clicked On a submit button

staif 30 Sep, 2014
Hi,

I am a beginner and not a developper (it does not help!)
I am trying to create a form to register visitors to a newsletter.
I have started to create a form but I am stuck in the setup section.
I have a block already created called "On submit".
Inside:
1- "Check Captcha"
2- Then a block with "On success" and "On fail" (with Eventloop inside).

I understood I had to add DB Save and Display message in the Success part to get the informations into the data base but it does seem to be possible. When I drag one, no space is shown to drop it.
Can you help?
Thanks

Hi,

Which version is this ? please check the demo forms if you have v5, or post a screenshot!

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?

Hi staif,

You don't need to drag them into the On Success event (though that should be possible).

In the latest versions of ChronoForms the area that you are dragging into shows a black border so that you can easily tell which event is the target.
