Customise WYSIWYG editor

rcadmin 12 Sep, 2014
I have enabled the WYSIWYG editor for a textbox but only want to display a few options ie Bold and Italics. How do I remove all the other options?

Hi rcadmin,

I sugest to You install JCK, It's a great editor and easy to customise, also, you can select what buttons you want to show to the uer.

I use it and recommend it, you have others of course, like JCE, I tryed a lot of then and which satisfied my need was the JCK.

Hope I could help you😉

Hi thanks for that. It looks like we are already using JCK in our template. Will this mean that Chronoform will use it too? Also then how do I customise it?

Hello rcadmin ,

I believe that is enough to put the JCK editor as default, but when testing in order to confirm, in fact, appeared normal editor.

I did a little research and what I realized is that it is possible, but have not found the way to do.

Here is when some administrator appears to help us.

By now I do not need this feature, but who knows if in the future I will not need? And even though I do not need, knowledge is always good.

In the end I could not help you, so I apologize.

I suggest you place other editors as pre-clearcut and see if they appear, may just be an issue with the JCK. I saw a lot of people asking for help with the integration with the JCE.
