Mailer Error

How to fix a ChronoForms mailer error with SMTP authentication.

Overview

The error occurs when the SMTP server rejects the sender address due to authentication mismatches.
Disable the SMTP setting within the ChronoForms configuration to resolve the issue.

ChronoForms V5 from the following error
Mailer Error: The Following From address failed: xxxxxx@xxxx.xx
SMTP server error: Your ID must match authenticating your sending address.

is not a problem of joomla 2.5.14 because it works MassMail

Hi ottoboni,

Did you enable the SMTP setting in Chronoforms ? if yes then please try to disable it and check if it works!

If not then please send me a message using the "contact us" page and set the subject to "SMTP fix"!
