I have a... little problem🙂

Chronoform works perfectly on Joomla 3.3 / PHP 5.3
But... since on PHP 5.4, i meet an error when i try to create a new form or edit one.

And, I can't stay at PHP 5.3, because I need PHP 5.4.
And, I would not like to hide PHP error.

I try on many differents servers, and i have always the same problem with PHP 5.4

Do you have an idea how to fixe it ?

When I try to create a new form (or edit a form), I click on save button and... blank page with this error.

I have tested this on php 5.4 and there is no problem, please try to redownload the latest v5 and install it OVER yours and try again, let me know how this works!

Yes, I already tried many times.
I tested on 3 differents servers (so 3 installation of Joomla).

And same error😟

Did you redownload the installer ? the Fatal error you receive is really strange and was not reported before, I checked it and there is no reason for this error to occur unless some file has been edited or corrupted, so please try to redownload

or try a different php 5.4 version ? its not logical to get a fatal error after upgrading php

Some user reported the same issue, and solved it by reinstalling Chronoforms!

I think that they have restarted the server as well, but please try to redownload and reinstall only first!

Hello,

I had the same error with PHP 5.4.30 Joomla 3.3.3 and CF 5.0.2, white page and impossible to change the form code. So after research i've read your diffrent answers and upload again the component, After redowload and reinstall I have the green message about database. I try to change the form code and I have this message (attached file)

If I click on cancel I have my form again but impossible to change something in it, always the same error message.
Have any idea ?

This may be some server security setting resetting the post data when they exceed a specific number, please check with your host admin or check the server log.

Please try also to update any of the demo forms included, same problem ?

I clic on the "demos" button to have them because there are not presnet and if I try to update I have the same error

I've looked at the error message and the code where it is happening but don't have any idea what might be causing it.
