File upload is not working on the form

dreamycat 11 Jul, 2014
Dear all! Can you please help with the following problem:

- ChronoForms 5 + Joomla 3.3.1
- when I press Submit on the form on the front-end I receive an e-mail with all the information - it's fine.
- but when I try to attach any file I get the error message saying that "attaching this file extension is not allowed". 😟

Attached are the screenshots with all data.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi dreamycat,

Does the file upload correctly? Can you find it on the server after the form submits?

Is the Email action *after* the Upload Files action?

Hello, Bob! No, the file is not uploading at all, I can't find it on server, because upload is not happening. After pressing "Submit" I get an error, that "attaching this file extension is not allowed" (please see screenshot below). So I can not actually send this message when trying to attache the file.

As I understand from below screenshots Email action is after Upload. Or should I check it somewhere else?

Kind regards,
Svetlana

Hi dreamycat,

Please Enable Debug on the Debug tab, submit the form and copy and paste the debugger output here.

Unfortunately, I can only submit the form when the file is not attached, otherwise I get an error I wrote about earlier...
Can I somehow send you my site details, so you could check it out? Please? πŸ™„

Hi Svetlana,

Do you have "-" inside the last field in the upload settings ? its named "Extensions separator", you must have - inside that field!

Did you try ChronoMyAdmin for managing your Joomla database tables ?
