Authenticator - form only for the registered users

Hello

I'm new with Chronoforms.
I would like to create a form available only for registered users.
In theory I know how to do it:
Use Authenticator in the "On load" event and set it up the allow user group "registered" - handle the event on the "On success" and "On fail" branches:

But it doesn't work for me...

Do I need to add something in the "Owner ID Index" field?

When I trying to specify the group access I have the following problem.
I changed the "Registerd" group from "Inherited" to "Allowed". Saving the form an reopening again I can see that the group access changed and the "Registered" still in "Inherited" and other group has the "Allowed" right. (in this example it changed to the "Editor" group)
It happens every time - the form setting never keeps the original setting, after saving and reopening it always change the setting to another group randomly.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

I am having the same issue with ChronoForms v5 on Joomla 3.3.0 where I try to set Super Administrators and/or Administrators to "Allowed" and then save but once you go back in, other groups have been set to Allowed other than the ones selected.

I seem to have the same problem. I got the authenticator but if I choose only one group to view the form it always denies everything.

Do I need something in the Owner ID?

I made a group A under registered and one more under group A called group B. I want group B to have access to the form but not anyone else including group A.

Can this be done?

Thanks,

Pericles

I believe I found the error in another forum post.

I had group A and group B in the same level under Registered.

I had to set Registered to Not Set and Group A to Not Set. Then Group B was able to accept the option.

Thanks,

Pericles

Hi Pericles,

Yes, you can't set any parent groups to denied because that would deny all children groups!
