Chronoforms 5 displaying a different Captcha Image

SebastianOpperman 24 Apr, 2014
Hi there,

I have a normal Chronoforms with a captcha. The Captcha image is being displayed but does not pass the validation. When i inspect the captcha image using Firebug i see the captcha image in the code is different than the one on the form. When i enter the code from the one in firebug the form sends through perfectly.

Here is the form with the wrong captcha image:

Here is the image when i inspect the captcha with firebug:

Hi SebastianOpperman,

The Captcha Image looks very unusual . . .

Do you have caching turned on for the site? That might explain a mis-match.

Don't reload the captcha image in Firebug or a new value will be stored in your session, and the one in the page will not work!

It's not when i reload the captcha in firebug. When the page loads, the wrong code is displayed on the actual form is wrong. But when i inspect the captcha i see a different code and that's the one that works

Please check it's a problem with the new Chronoforms 5. a few of our site's do the same

Please post a link to the form here or by PM so I can check it!

You may also use the "security question" instead.
