Open the Form General tab by clicking the form name link in the forms Manager; then click the JS Validation tab and set 'Enable JS Validation' to 'Yes'.

Hi Quevi,
This step is for v4, but regardless of the version, if your fields are marked as required in the "Validation" tab under the field settings window, then it will be auto enabled, no need to set any more settings!

Hi Quevi2008,
If you have it set up as Max says and you still aren't seeing the validation working then there may be a JavaScript error on the form page.

Sorry guys,
This doesn't work.
I've manually installed all files via FTP.
These are the steps I've walked through:
Click on the form's name

Click on the SETUP tab

Click the EDIT button from the line "JS Client Validation"

The name of my form field is 'email'...
What else am I doing wrong???

do you have a "custom code" form ? if not then why don't you just use the "Validation" tab under the email field settings ?
