Yesterday I downloaded and installed Chronoforms 5 into Joomla 2.5.19, it gave me an error.
So I uninstalled it and downloaded and installed version 4, that gave me the same error.
Installation went well, it's when I choose whatever option in "components > chronoforms" that the errors says:
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/*****/public_html/trickspartybe/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/versions/j2.5/admin.chronoforms.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/*****/public_html/trickspartybe/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/admin.chronoforms.php on line 19
Any idea what went wrong?
ps: the '*****' are there to hide a name ;-)

Hi Positivo,
It looks as though you haven't downloaded the correct version(s) of ChronoForms for Joomla! 2.5

That could well be the problem, I click on the name insted of on the Joomla version name.
Now I can't install, it says:

It looks like my provider has the wrong php version: 5.2.17
Should I try chronoforms version 4 then?

Hi Positivo,
PHP 5.2 is very old, the latest version is 5.5.11 Ask your host to upgrade you to 5.3 (or change hosts). I think that CFv4 also requires 5.3 :-(

Hi,
CFv5 will not work on PHP 5.2, but v4 should, please test again and make sure you download and install CFv4 for J2.5, not for J3, because you used the one for J3 first then later tried to use v5
Regards,
Max
