I am a newbie but I am trying to create a job request form that will only allow certain users to place orders. The form needs to pass data to database and then send an email to the marketing director.
1. I created the table in Designer within Chronoforms but do not know to map the fields to a table. I see where to create the table but not sure how to set up fields with drop down select list.
2. Not sure how to do the form login validation and or set the email action.
ANY suggestions for examples someone could provide would be greatly appreciated!
Hi ttrump,
Just use a "db save" action to save the form data to your table and an "Email" action to send the email, the login should be handled by Joomla's login module

Thank you. I am working in design view in Chronoforms but don't see where to insert an action?
Under the "Setup" view, but if you have a simple form then you can still save the data and setup the emails under the same tabs under the "setup".

Under "set up" I have:
Enabled (set to YES)
Table name (shows the correct table name)
Save under Model ID (set to NO)
MultiSave (Set to NO)
Model ID (set to Data)
Any thoughts?
And when you submit the form now, the data is not saved to table ?

I can't view the form to test... I don't have any options on any tabs to choose Show HTML action into the On Load event.
Only thing that shows up when I test the form is the form name.
Please send me login to your website to check the form if the problem still exists!
