CFv5 localized validation messages

How to localize validation messages in ChronoForms v5.

Overview

The issue is that the JS Language tab is no longer available in version 5, making it unclear how to customize validation messages without editing core files.
Use the 'Title' setting in the form field to enter a custom message, which will override the default validation message.

Hi,
I'm looking for an opportunity to localize the validation messages, but can't find it.
There is no JS Language tab anymore in V5 (or I couldn't find it), so I don't know how to do it...

I found the file gvalidation.js where I could edit them directly, but I have concerns it will be overwritten with the next update.

In the form designer there is a tab "Locales", but I have no idea how to use it 🙄

Any suggestions? I only have a few messages that I need to translate... Anyway, if there already exists a translation for German, I would appreciate.

Thanks in advance,
Viktor

Hi Viktor,

Just use the "Title" setting in your field, write your own message, it will be used instead of the default message!
