Version 4.0 Problems, White Screen in Admin!

Old Joomla version I know but here is a little backstory.
HostMySite is our web host. Have not been able to upgrade Joomla version since agency does not want to do any major redesign, so I have to use the older ChronoForm version.

We had 2 forms that were working, just sending simple emails up to a few months ago.
HostMySite moved our site to a new server for some security reason and suddenly our forms didnt work.
The form loaded, but when clicking submit, just get a white screen.
I tried troubleshooting a bit with them to no end, they kept saying something is wrong with your Joomla component.

Suggested uninstall component and reinstall.

I did that and now in the admin site(back end) I just get a white screen when trying to go to any of the Chrono Form component management.

Please help!

When I get the whitescreen in Firefox, there wasn't much help, but in IE I at least get a Server Error 500... if that helps at all.

Note, I am running a backup of the site on my local box in WAMP for testing, but I get the same white screen behavior when attempting to submit a form:

Could this be due to the updated (different version) of PHP on the server they moved us to?

Hi bcesario,

What you are seeing there are all PHP Notices - they shouldn't cause a white page (nor do I understand why the PHP Mailer code would be loading in the admin page :-(

It might be the PHP version, I think that 5.3 is needed but I don't have a clear diagnosis. Joomal 1.6 is an odd version to be running, have you tried the form on 2.5?

Almost the same problem in J3.3 with version 4, white screen in administration view.
Issue fixed here:
/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/admin.chronoforms.php

replace $jversion->RELEASE with your current Chronoforms version, like this
