form validation doesn't work

Hi,

I have a quote form that start with 3 fields and when a customer clicks on submit it opens up a popup with a new form that includes the 3 fields and another 5 fields.

i have an issue in the 2nd form. the validation doesn't work although i applied validation to it.

Hi regevkamber,

I can see the problem OK and have checked that the form without the FancyBox works correctly. I can't see what is causing the problem though :-(

I get one odd message in the console but I think that may be from Chrome. I see none of the typical JavaScript errors reported in either Chrome or IE.

I think the reason the validation doesn't work its because on the popup it doesn't load the javascript files.

do you have any solution for it?

how can i create a custom JS validation function that will work onclick?

Hi regevkamber,

If you load the form using a standard Joomla! URL then all of the related script files should be loaded with it (see the Test form links in the Forms Manager as examples).
