A form that sends only specified fields to a bcc or cc email?

Just wondering if there is an option to have a form submit only specified fields to the bcc or cc email on a form while the main email just gets all fields as usual.

Thanks

Hi corrupterd,

I can't imagine any logic that would send one email where different addressees get different content. You can send two (or more) different emails to different addresses.

The logic for the form would need to be like this:
Field A and field B need to go to email 1
Field C and field D need to go to email 2
Email 1 should not be allowed to see Fields C & D
Email 2 should not be allowed to see Fields A & B

Hi corrupterd,

Then the answer sounds to me like two separate emails.

Going by our example above then...
How do we get email fields A and B into email 1 and C and D into email 2.
I can't seem to find anything in documentation for this?

Hi corrupterd,

Edit the Email templates so that they only include the inputs that you need?

Hello everyone,

I recently switched from CF3 to CF5 and saw lots for improvements. However I do not find a way to send email to cc and/or bcc email address using Chronoform V5. There is no such cc or bcc field in the email panel. I was thinking to do it behind the scene. Can somebody provide some guidance/hint?

Thx in advance for your help

Hi celini,

Sorry, I don't know how to do this - you'd need to hack some of the core files to enable it. I expect that Max will add CC & BCC in a future release.

I only see the one email template to edit.. could you give me an example of how to add multiple templates?

Hi corrupterd,

Yes, you can have as many as you like; two is common, I've only seen three used once or twice.
