I am trying to use the JQuery Datepicker. In a previous article you said you don't include the JQuery Datepicker in Chronoforms implementation for some reason but you should download the Datepicker and put it in a directory like this:-
/components/com_chronoforms/extras/jquery/jquery.ui.datepicker.js
Trouble is I have downloaded it from JQuery but cannot find the file jquery.ui.datepicker.js anywhere. Wouldn't it be simpler to include it with the JQuery implentation for Chronoforms along with all the other standard JQuery controls?

Hello peterswa62,
I'm not a Chrono professional, but after checking your new post, I think that the following links may help:
How can I add a JQuery datepicker?
P.S: I'm just an automated service😉

Hi peterswa62,
I'm not clear what your question is. If you are using ChronoForms v4 then I recommend that you use the MooTools datepicker that is included with it,
If you are using ChronoForms v5 then please do use the built-in JQeuery datepicker. The FAQ was written for the first release of CFv5 which did not include a datepicker, and recommended for another user who was having problems with the built-in datepicker.
The CFv5 built-in datepicker has been written by Max (I think), i don’t know why her prefers that to the JQuery datepicker.

Thanks. What I mean is I was following your instructions on your article http://www.chronoengine.com/faqs/4010-how-can-i-add-a-jquery-datepicker, it says you need to download the JQuery datepicker and then reference the link to the file:-jquery.ui.datepicker.js.
However when I looked for this file from the download I could not find where it is. Also it seems it bundles lots of other JQuery controls and dependencies with it from this download page http://jqueryui.com/download/.
On the question of wether to use the MooTools or JQuery datepicker I prefer the JQuery one as it seems to be much more configureable and in any case I want eventually to be able to use other JQuery controls in conjunction with Chronoforms.
