Saving edited record - Chronoconnectivity V4

jackie 03 Feb, 2014
I've got Chronoconnectivity connected to my Chronoform (form app = ChronoConnectivity)
It displays the records from my table - and removes a record.
But I want to edit the records -

I do get the edit screen when I click on our of our records, but there's no save (update) -

Can you give me some detailed advice about how to add that to my Chronoconnectivity setup?

I see there are events but have no idea how to do this -

This is not from the front end, we only want this for our admins to edit data in the back end and remove duplicates, etc.

Thank you

AHA- well I agree with some other comments that these 2 are the most amazing programs that do more than I'll ever comprehend - somehow I made this more complicated than it was.

I've got it now - Created a new form in Chronoforms just for editing the table (as opposed to using the old form that collected the data),(I copied the form that collected the data and removed validation from the fields, disabled captcha and the fields I didn't want to edit), added the exact word "Chronoconnectivity" to the new form as a 'form app'.
Saving the data in the form is done with the SUBMIT button - as usual - which is what I forgot to add. (In Chronoconnectivity since there is New, Edit, Remove options, I thought there might also be an Update option). The submit works fine.

The CCv4 tutorials were confusing to me because it focused on the front end and mentioned 'articles' - I was looking for info on how to edit data stored from a form in the back end.

Very glad this forum is here and thanks for these good programs.
