Plugin destroys js (?)

Binary 02 Feb, 2014
Hello,

I'm using the plugin and on each page javascripts seems to stop working.
The plugin is used here:
http://kiansblog.com/guter-einkauf/index.php/unsere-sparten/hotelgruppe/341-informationen-zu-den-land-gut-hotels
And here not:
http://kiansblog.com/guter-einkauf/

When the plugin is used, the login button and the menu on the top side do not work.
The menu "Unsere Sparten" does have submenus. They won't be shown, when the plugin is enabled.

What can I do?
Thank you and best regards

Hi Binary,

This isn't a ChronoForms problem directly. There are three visible JavaScript errors from other code in your template. If you view the same page without the template the validation is working OK.

Thanks but this does not really help me out.
I have to go live with the site today.
On any other page, the menu works right.
Only if you use the plugin, it start working.

I mean it stopped working. The JS errors are even on the demo site: http://www.shape5.com/demo/index.php?prestige_academy I don't think it really have to do something with that.

Sorry, I do not see any edit option but I can not see any js error on pages without your plugin enabled.
I mistook the css and the js error symbol.

Hi Binary,

Here are the errors I see; none of them are from ChronoForms nor are they the same as those on the demo page.

If you want a temporary workaround you can turn off the ChronoForms client side validation and use Serverside validation instead.

I used the web developer toolbar in ff and can't see the problems.
Anyway. How can I turn of the ChronoForms client side validation and use Serverside validation instead?
I hope this will fix the problem.

I can see the problems now but I only see them, where your plugin is activated. This happens on no other page and I do not have any clue how to fix it. Maybe your workaround will help.

This does not help

Hi Binary,

I see pretty much the same errors in FireFox.

If you want to use Serverside validation then the check has to go in the On Submit event as you want to validate the results when the form is submitted, not when it loads. You also need to add an Event Loop action to the pink On Fail box to handle any errors. There is more information in the FAQs.

As you can see, there are no errors on a site, where the plugin is not used.
I can load any site without any problems.
I'm forced to try out different extensions now and do all the work from the beginning.
Thank you anyways.
If you see any other way to get this work, I would buy the component than.

Sorry, I forgot the upload...

I use JSN UniForm now, which causes not errors. Thanks anyway!
