Table Records

puggles 21 Jan, 2014
Hi,

Is it possible that when you view your table through "show data" that under the heading "record" to have a particular field from the form (ie name) as opposed to "Record #"?

Thanks

Hi puggles,

That's possible in V4 but not "yet" in V5, its on the todo list of course, hopefully it will be ready for the next release!

If you need it in V4 then you can configure the list by clicking the form name in the forms manager.

Thanks for the response. Where in V4 can you configure it? I can't find where you have mentioned it.

Under the "Data view" tab, but your form should be already connected to at least one table before using this!

Also the feature has been added to V5 and is due release, so if you are on V5 already then please wait till tomorrow!

Thanks, but i am referring more to once you click in to view the data, the table loads and you only see "record #1, #2, etc". I was hoping there was an option to change the "record #1" to a particular field from the form.

Yes, that's the feature I'm pointing to, just use the data view tab to add your fields!
