How can I send emails without html coding (only plain text)?

In ChronoForms v4, Yes; in v3 and v5, No. I guess that might be added to v5 in the future.

Sorry ... my mistake. I only work with version 5, where I bought the validation today😉
HTML is unfortunately often a problem with spam filter.

I know that was true a few years ago - is it still a problem today when most email is now HTML?

Yes ... it is a bigger problem than ever. Each provider and user is trying to protect yourself from spam. Not HTML is simply better.
Many do not even notice when a mail is not delivered.

Known sender I can put there in a whitelist.
But guests who write about an online form, are mostly unknown.
So I would just prefer non HTML email from the form. :wink:

and where exactly in Joomla 2.5.11 in cronoforms 4.0 can I switch on plain text mode in email after filling out form?

and one more question:
how to include in subject of email sent after filling out the form,
the telephone number user entered in the form?
standart brackets seems to be not working:
{input_text_3}

I need to send email-sms confirmation via API of sms gateway
and API requires to include SMS recievers number in the topic of email

The plain text is available in V4 under the "Email" action settings, you may need to use the advanced wizard for that!
