Hello guys,
I am using ChronoForums because it is easily to configure. But currently I have a problem with the permissions. I have created an internally area for our team and have set it everywhere for guest to "denied". But currently I am so desperate that I've set it for every group to "denied" but the category still is viewable and accessable for guests and public ! >.<
Categories Manager:
Intern - Permissions - Every Group at "Denied" - Published "Yes"
If I set it to "No" at Published then I am not able to see it also if I am logged in and set the permissions to "allowed".
Forums Manager:
Intern - Display/Access - Every group at "Denied" - Published "Yes"
Do you know how to solve that problem?

I'm having a similar problem. I want all my forums to be viewable only by registered users, but under "board settings" there is no way to set display/access permissions, only creating topics, posting replies, etc. Under "categories" my permissions setting for public is "not set", and under "forums" each forum's display/access permission for public is "not set." My menu option for Chronoforums is limited to registered users, so public cannot access it that way, but I can get to it without logging in by putting "options=com.chronoforums" in the url. The notification email when a new topic is posted likewise allows viewing the forum without logging in, although if the user tries to reply or enter a new topic they are required to login.
