Morning
For reasons that I cannot work out, the pagination control insists on sticking to the top of the form. I can switch it off but Top or Bottom it insists on sticking to the top. Any ideas for causes much appreciated.
But that leads to another related question. Any idea how I would add the pagination control to the top & bottom of a (long) form?
Regards
Nick
Hi Nick,
I can only guess that this is a CSS problem of some kind. Or maybe an unclosed tag in the HTML?
Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Hi Bob,
I will post a link but I need to send you a user id & password as it is in a secure area. Where can I send that? Meanwhile I will have a look at what you suggest.

Hi Nick,
You can email or PM me with the icons under my picture.

Hi Nick,
It looks like a very complicated form as the main listing seems to be imported from another component. I don't see anywhere that you have got the ChronoForms pagination turned on and what is on the page seems to be from a different form (possibly not a ChronoForm at all).

PS I noticed in passing that: (a) you have use Formatted Text elements to add code to the Preview window. I generally recommend against that - Custom Element element from the Advanced Group are more robust; (b) if I click the Test form icon it shows a PHP error - I couldn't see where in the form code that was coming from though :-(
Hi Bob,
The matter of the other component - I have done that where I wanted to set up a fairly complex table that is used by more than one form. It just calls my own php code that is in that com_u3a component.
The pagination is there - see attached.
I have found and fixed the PHP error. It was in 'Event D' which is just an error trap. The forms needs to be run from that front page as it needs the name of a calling form. I have used that to switch between different views of the same form presenting different data selections. With Test Form - no known calling form at it triggers Event D.
As ever - thanks for the help. Trust the storm hasn't hit you or at least - too hard.
