One form sends, the other one don't

Hi

I have setup 2 forms on a site. The first one was created a while back and works.

I added another form today (with the same settings as the previous one - Email also published), but when I test the form, no emails are received (by the "receive" email nor by the one I inserted in the test form's front-end).

What could the problem be?

Website is http://www.hdmusicsa.co.za - the first form is kept hidden (only specific clients will receive the link) and the one I'm having problems with are BOOK US.

Now both forms do not send - tried the options mentioned in the FAQ (tried a new form with just one question - not working; send emails through the "Send link to friend" and they work; different email addresses for the send to/from; etc).

The first form worked 100%, but since I've added the additional form, none of them are working.

Honestly not sure what to do anymore 😟 Any other suggestions?

Hi Jac,

Adding a new form shouldn't have any effect on the existing forms :-(

By all means email or PM me the site URL, the form name, and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.

Hi Jac,

I found the problem and the Contact2 form is now sending emails. The From Email address needed to match the From address in the site Global Configuration | Server tab.

PS While I was exploring I made a few changes :-(

+ I switched from the Easy Wizard to the Form Wizard and deleted a bunch of un-used actions to eliminate them. You can add any back that you need later. The Form Wizard looks different but is IMHO easier to use once you are familiar with it.

+ I added default values to some of the drop-downs e.g. ==??== so that the validation works correctly

+ I installed my Email [GH] action for testing but didn't need to use it. You'll find it in the [GH] Custom Actions group.

I forgot to suggest in my last post that you should create a database table add a DB Save action to the form as a backup in case Emails fail.
