CFv3 Adding or Editing the dropdown after DB connection made

Hello. I'm ChronoForms v3.1 RC5.5 on Joomla 1.5

That said, my question is very simple.

After making the db connection with the form, can I change the options on the form's dropdowns?

For example, if I had a dropdown in that form with these options:
option 1
option 2
option 3

Is it ok if, after making the DB connection I add more options like:
option 1
option 2
option 3
option 4
option 5

If I understand correctly, when the table is created and the Database Connection made, then what it does is tell the database which fields to capture. I just want to make sure I keep everything as it should be.

If you add more options to an existing input then you don't need to change the Db Connection at all. (If you added a new input then you would need to.)

PS You should probably upgrade the latest release of CFv3 as there were some bug fixes.

About updating to the latest version of CFv3:
For now, since I haven't googled it, I don't know how to do it. Also, I don't want to risk messing things up.

I have no idea how people with MONSTER sites get to updating ANYTHING 😑
