On my website people can present their selves with their profile on a factsheet. They can also upload their photograph.
Is there a possibility chronoforms create a random unique filename after uploading a file and rename that file in stead of
saving the file after upload in the original filename. Otherwise there could be a case in which someone uploads his file with the same filename which already excists in the database.

By default the Upload Files action adds a date-time string to the uploaded image names to make them unique. Are you not seeing this?
If you want more control then my Upload Files [GH] action has more options.
