Can I use same form for different recipients?

Hi Bob,

I used your FAQ post to create a form that will e-mail different recipients based on who they select from a dropdown menu. The form works great! but now the client is getting picky (😫 ) and they want a different contact form for each of their ten contacts.

I am not a programmer, so I don't know if this can be done. But, is there a way to make the one form work with different e-mail links so when a user clicks on an e-mail link the form would know who to e-mail?

I hope I don't have to create 10 forms!

Hi Jose,

You can use three copies of my Event Switcher [GH] action to set up ten different emails.

Or you could use PHP in the Email template to change the template - If they are completely different I'd probably do it by including a different file for each template. If there are only minor differences then you can code the changes to a single template.

Hi Bob,

As always thanks for the thorough reply. Your suggestions are beyond my level of expertise. It looks like I'm going to have to do 10 forms 🙂 At least, they're all identical so I can duplicate them after I do the first one.

Cheers!

Jose
