You must provide at least one recipient email address

mar_tso 02 Jul, 2012
Hi all,
when I load a form in a dropdown menu I get this message after form submission:
"You must provide at least one recipient email address."
I read everything there is in this forum regarding this matter and none of the solutions apply to me.
I think the problem comes from ChronoForm stripping spaces and special characters like :// @ somehow when loaded in that module position (dropdown menu).
The form actually get's submitted and the admin email is delivered - see bellow:
Name test
Email paykanevgmailcom
Phone 000000
Subject test
Message:
test

Because of the loss of those characters and spaces the dynamic recipient's email can't be found and no email is delivered there.
I hope someone has a solution for this problem.
The website I'm working on is http://premade.us - Premade websites and the form shows in Contact dropdown of the horizontal menu.
Just to clarify I use the same form in a pop up window, see bottom left Contact us button at: http://premade.us/shop/business-websites/business-website-2-explained - Premade business website
and the form submits fine to both email address.
I assume that it's either javascript or some other conflict (jQuery, mootools) but I can't find it or solve it so I need your help.
Looking forward to finding a solution.
Thank you all in advance.

Hi mar_tso,

By default ChronoForms doesn't strip anything from your form data. You can see from the image below (from FireBug in FireFox) that the email address is submitted correctly. So you need to debug what is happening after that. The Debugger action will help.

This is not anything to do with JavaScript as far as I can see.

Hi GreyHead,
I can see that it all appears normal when the form is loaded but it can't explain why I'm getting this after your test:
Name name
Email userexamplecom
Phone 12345
Subject Testing
Message:
Integer pretium semper lectus ac fermentum Morbi risus lacus iaculis et facilisis sed porta et lacus Nulla sodales pellentesque dapibus Praesent lacinia nisi in ipsum vehicula eu fringilla arcu eleifend Cras sagittis faucibus libero a volutpat Nulla nullam
Referring URL: httpwwwchronoenginecomforumspostingphpmodereplyf26t82394

and apparently you did not receive nothing (or whoever email is userexamplecom). I will try the Debugger and see what that gives me.
Thank you for your attention anyway and please share if anything comes to your mind at all.

Hi again,
I tried to enable Debugging for my form but the Actions tab is only available for new forms, not available when I click on my form Wizard Edit link.
How do I enable debugging for existing forms?
(Chronoforms v4)
Thank you in advance.
