Hi everyone,
I've been thinking about using chronoforms to create a 'form' that utilizes the database of one of my joomla components called JomWall. JomWall is a nifty little 'facebook' like app that integrates with my Community Builder website, giving me functionality similar to JomSocial but without having to migrate my custom CB scripts to Jomsocial. Anyway, JomWall doesn't translate to a mobile environment at all. I used Chronoforms to create a table and forms for modifying user data on my desktop site, and using JQuery Mobile, I modified those desktop forms to give them a 'touchable' interface for my mobile site. It worked out pretty well. So I was thinking, could I make a form that pulled data from this JomWall database, placed it in the form, and basically allowed users to get the 'post, comment, like, browse' functionality of the community 'wall', integrated in such a way that the mobile form 'wall' and desktop component 'wall' would update each other? Would this be difficult to tackle or no? The developers of JomWall claim to be working toward a 'mobile' version, but I kind of want it now, not when they get around to it.🙂 Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
