Class 'ChronoFormsAdminVersion' not found

zhumar 17 May, 2012
I'm getting this error when trying to get to the ChronoForms component in the backend of our client's site:

"Fatal error: Class 'ChronoFormsAdminVersion' not found in /home/refxuser/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/controller.php on line 154"

I noticed some users getting a similar error so I updated the component to the latest version. This did not fix the error. Is there a fix for this or is this a first time report?

Joomla: 1.7.5
ChronoForms: 4.0 RC3.3
PHP: 5.3.10

If you need anything else from me, let me know.

Hi zhumar,

All the code looks OK from a quick review and previously I thought the error might be related to PHP 5.2 but you have 5.3

Please check that the file administrator/components/com_chronoforms/versions/j1.7/admin.chronoforms.php exists in your installation.

Yes, that file is present and I see the function in there that the error says does not exist.

Hi zhumar,

I don't' have anything much to suggest :-( Can you upgrade Joomla! to the current 2.5 version and see if that resolves the problem? If not, you might try contacting Max through the Contact Us link above and see if he has any suggestions.

The error vanished. Not sure what happened, but I can get into the backend now. Thanks for the help!
