I have an interesting problem that is really puzzling me and I could use a tip or help. The problem is that I have an enrollment form in chronoforms v3.1 RC5.5 on a Joomla 1.5 install. The client signs up and enrolls in a plan but it doesn't send out the confirmation email to the client and it doesn't send a second email the company of the signup. It gets more interesting in the fact that the same exact form works fine and emails both parties on a different web server.
Webserver1=enrollment form sends email
Webserver2=enrollment form never sends out any email
Installed a basic test form on Webserver2 which emails fine. OK that's when it became a mystery.
Tried upgrading to 3.20 but that didn't enable mailing. Any ideas?
Thanks much!

Hi nassausky ,
Here's a list of things to check
a) That 'Send Emails' is set to 'Yes' on the Form General tab
b) That you have a valid Email Setup - if the box is green it's valid, red is invalid (see d below)
c) That you have set 'Enabled' to 'Yes' in the Email Setup Properties box
d) A valid Email Setup requires To, Subject, From Name and From Email elements (or the Dynamic equivalents) in the *same* setup box.
e) The element boxes must contain strings for the static elements or valid input names from the form for the Dynamic elements.
f) The To and From Email boxes must contain valid email addresses
g) The From Email address should match the Domain name.
h) The To email address should not be the same as the From Email address.

Thanks.
I went to the working webserver and backed up the form and restored it to the other server and it didn't work yet a basic form did send out an email. Shouldn't all those settings you mention remain duplicated on a restore. It looked the same to me. I wonder if something in the php settings on the website that isn't emailing the forms is ending the chronoform script prematurely before email gets sent. The debug displays a message that the message was sent. Really puzzling.

If you're using GoDaddy as a host then I'm experiencing this problem with one of my clients as well. But it's not a ChronoForm problem is GoDaddy. If you're not using GoDaddy please disregard this message lol.
