Could you guys post one? I am having trouble figuring this component out. I have very little coding knowledge, and that is why I chose to use Joomla for my website needs. I have chronoforms and it is very easy to understand. I would like to be able to incorporate chronoconnectivity in order to view my database record results easily, but I need assistance doing this....๐
Hi deezgrafix,
The one thing that you can be sure of is that as soon as I find one it will be posted. But when I'll find time to write one is a different question :-( It's on the 'to-do' list but so are many other things . . .

thanks Bob! I appreciate all that you do. In the meantime, I will be trying to figure this thing out. If I figure it out before I see a tutorial posted, I will post a tutorial for everyone.
Hi deezgrafix,
I will try to make a tutorial ASA I have the time to do it๐
for now, here is the simplest tutorial, if you want to go beyond this then either ask here or read the small tips inside the edit page itself.
In order to create a 1st basic connection, you should:
#1- enter connection name.
#2- select a db table.
#3- navigate to the "Admin list settings" tab and enter few table columns names in the "List View Fields" box.
#4- go to the "Admin permissions" tab and set the "List Permissions" to "Super users" (or whatever group you have).
Now you can save the connection and display the table data through the "Admin list" link, for adding/editing you will need to connect a Chronoform to your connection.
Regards,
Max

Steps 1-4 should be in the announcement on the fp and/or stickied -- it really is enough to get going easily with cc4.
Hi gemlog,
Added to the article on the front page . . . and as a sticky post.

Is it possible to have a separate forumpart for version 4 off CC as the one for CF4?
Hi JeLu,
We may do some forums changes soon, we will think about that๐
Thanks!

This.
I spent quite some time finding the simple instructions in this thread in order to get started.
I looked for a specific forum first and then was left concocting search phrases. 'CC' and '4' are too generic and so on. It's a major break and should have its own forum I think.
This is not to say that Bob's previous tutorials aren't still relevant, because they are still relevant to a great extent. Just that threads peculiar to the new version are too hard to find.
