Can't drag an email event into an 'on success' captcha check

Greg R. 27 Feb, 2012
Ok, I have many contact forms with elaborate email events, and I accidentally put them in the outer 'On Submit' event instead of nesting them in the captcha check 'on success' event. Now, when I try to drag them into the captcha, I can't. Is there any solution short of deleting all my email events? That would be bad. Also, this has nothing to do with mootools. Dragging in general works fine. This is in Joomla 1.7, Chronoforms v4.

Hi Greg,

I'd leave them where they are, having them in the outer event is exactly the same as putting them in an On Success event 99% of the time as the process flows down through the event. The 1% exception is if you want to stop the flow On Success.

It's a nuisance not being able to drag actions between events - I guess that might come in a future release. I usually open two copies of the form in different browser windows or tabs, create a new action and copy and paste over the contents.
