Getting Email Fields To Display

doug4r 27 Jan, 2012
I have followed all the steps in "V4 Email - Part 1" in the you tube video, but the data entry fields are not being displayed. Any ideas?

Hi Doug,

No idea at all. There's no information here to let me know. If you follow the steps and your form has been built correctly then the data should be included.

Instead of the Field name, what is displayed is:

Powered By Chronoforms - CronoEngine.com

I've been fighting this for about a week. I'm obviously doing something wrong, but what?

Hi Doug,

Do you have anything in the Email template?

The fields now display. When submit is clicked, receive:

Table cronoform_data_customer failed-invalid source.

Eliminated the "data failed" message, but the email never reaches the receiver.

Hi Doug,

It's most likely in a spam folder somewhere. Please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here. Note: if you are using the Easy Wizard you may need to switch to the Advanced Wizard to do this; if you want to continue to use the Easy Wizard please make a copy of your form first and add the Debugger action to the copy.

The debug output is attached. No email is received at "doug4r@gmail.com".

Hi Doug,

If that is the total Debug output then it looks as though the Email action doesn't exist or isn't enabled.

Problem resolved.

An Event Loop action was left over from something else I tried. When I removed that, it works. Thanks.
