Chronoforms suddenly no delivered....was working f

As indicated our forms were working fine until the hosting company made some changes. See the info below.

In short form data can be mailed to other address but one in particular..a pop3 account does not work. The hosting company offered the following:

You may be experiencing problems with your outgoing email. Our email host changed settings over the weekend, which likely explains the problems we had over the weekend with our online forms.

If you are using westernfinance.us as your primary outgoing mail server, you will need to make the following change.

Open Outlook or Outlook Express and click on Tools. Change the outgoing mail server to require SMTP Auth. That should fix any problems you have.




Can someone please explain how this might effect the delivery of our forms and what we need to do to get them to work again..

Hi,

Nothing to do with ChronoForms, you should open your Joomla global config and change the mail method at the mail tab to be SMTP instead of whatever its and enter the SMTP user/pass yours!
