No email on submit but data is being saved

ScorpiousDelectus 05 Oct, 2011
Hi guys, I've got an issue with not receiving emails on any of my forms. I've used the Easy Wizard and set up my details in the Email tab (and changed to a different email address just in case it was the email address itself) but nothing happens. Data is being saved to the table that is linked to the form. The last time I created forms (on a previous incarnation of this site that I accidentally messed up and had to start from scratch) emails were coming through fine and I'm pretty sure I've done everything the same, I just can't see what I'm missing.

Forms are located at:

http://newphase03.cloudaccess.net/contact-us.html (all three tabs)
http://newphase03.cloudaccess.net/song-list.html (Suggest A Song tab)

however this form is sending me emails

http://newphase03.cloudaccess.net/why-ee.html

and the email sections are identical. Any thoughts?

Hi ScorpiousDelectus ,

No problem visible from the front-end. Please take a Form Backup of one or teo of the problem forms using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

Attached are all of my forms. While testing, someone else was able to use the Contact Us form and generate an email which I received but when I use the form, nothing is emailed through. Very strange.

Hi ScorpiousDelectus ,

The email appear to work Ok from here.

Please remove the Reply To Name & Email entries) only needed if the Reply To Email is different to the From Email); and please make sure that the To Email and From Email are different (sometimes they get dropped if they are the same - why would you email yourself).

Just so I understand, the To field is the address that the form gets emailed to (in other words, my email address) while the From address is the address that appears in the header of the email as the entity that sent the email?

Hi ScorpiousDelectus,

Yes that's correct.
