Hi Smash206,
Please check the Form Code | On Submit After Email box - Click the [+/-] link to open it. That's the most likely location. Second choice is the Before Email box above it.
Bob
That's what I thought too. Which is why I provided the above pictures.
The picture shows those boxes are empty. As well the photo of the database show those fields are empty.
But the url is: /index.php?option=com_chronocontact&task=send&chronoformname=register
Which just baffles me as to why those boxes are empty and I'm getting an after submission message on the above url. Combined with the after submit boxes being empty, database fields being empty, and no redirect url, and no article with the message, and searching the database for the after submit message provides ZERO results...
Hi Smash206,
Apologies, I didn't look far enough through the images - it's been that kind of day :-(
Is there anything in the Form HTML? I wonder if the form is reloading and the message is there.
Bob
I apologize for the belated response I just had surgery.
No nothing additional in the Form HTML, Form JavaScript, Form CSS, onSubmit Events Code or Extra Code.
Also GreyHead if you'd being willing to help me solve this on a more hands on fashion I'd be more than happy to buy you a few beers.
Hi smash206,
Just back from holiday myself.
By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
Bob
I've sent you the requested PM.
Hi Smash206,
At the moment I'm baffled too.
I've checked all the places that I can think of and see nothing :-(
I can see that there is a redirect to /register for the Registration form but can't see where this URL is set up. It doesn't appear to be a Menu Item or an Article. I wondered if finding this might give a clue.
Will keep thinking - off to get some lunch.
Bob
I have done a search of the MySQL database and have not found the message.
Although, one would think it has to exist somewhere... database, language file, hardcoded..
How can I be of further assistance?
Would you like to search the database? Or access the FTP?
Hi Smash206,
I've had no more inspiration. I did wonder if there could be two different sites one with www. and one without?
If it's not in the database anywhere then it has to be in the site HTML. I checked the User Registration template and looked for Template over-rides (didn't' see any).
I guess the next step is to download a copy of the possible site files (the user & chronoforms components and the templane and to search those). If you know Unix and have shell access you may be able to use grep - but that's beyond my abilities.
Bob
It was in the language file.
