Table in a form

glarkin 09 Aug, 2011
Hi Still using old chrono version3? doing a great job and working fine for what i need!! new project - i need to put a table in a form for users to enter data and then have it stored in a connected table. I can do it with individual fields, but I really need the facility for users to input a list of data, on multi-rows, across 4 or more columns. Is there a straight forward solution? many thanks G

Hi glarkin,

You can use PHP to generate a form with many rows . . . but you then need to custom-code the database saving code because the ChronoForms/Joomla! code can’t handle multiple saves.
