Path to uploaded files

Nielsp 12 Jul, 2011
Ty for making Cronoforms available for public!

Is it possible to store the full path of uploaded files into the database, so that when showing the data in frontend, users can download the files by clicking or copy/paste the path of the file ?
How do I clear a form to prevent users from hitting F5 so the data is saved again – form is in an article.

Regards

Hi Nielsp,

If the folder is always the same then you can add the folder in the front-end display. If it varies then you'd need to add code to build a full path before saving the data to the database.

Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.

To block F5 you can use the Submissions limit control in CFv3 (on the form General tab) - I don't think that there is an equivalent for CFv4 yet.
