Hey Guys,
I have a form found here: http://www.tuscweddings.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=17&category_id=6&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&vmcchk=1&Itemid=1
Works well, from start to finish. The only prob I am having is the upload file feature (last item).
It is set to accept only jpgs...this works!
However, when I try to upload a Tif or swf (something that violates the jpg parameter)...it just hangs! Should it not have an error message? I have let it go for 20 mins, with no results.
Or, if this is not standard functionality, how can I add it?
(Incidentally, I have tried a few java and php scripts, that check the file type on submit...however, they did not work. It may be that I did not implement them correctly, so any basic pointers would be valued).
Thanks,
Clay

Hi Clay,
There is a reported bug in the standard file upload action (see http://chronoengine.com/forums.html?cont=posts&p=69592#p69592 for the bug and fix). That may be the problem you are having.
Alternatively you try my File Upload action available here. This is more flexible and I've had no bug reports.

Hi cberish,
This looks like a problem with the Bixiform plug-in - the form without the plug-in behaves correctly :-(
