Chronoform inside Locator page

susawx 22 Jun, 2011
Hi! Im using Chronoform 4 (joomla 6) and Locator Component (http://www.fatica.net/products/dealer-locator-component-for-joomla.html. I have a contact form (created with Chronoforms) inside an item page of Locator component (added it via the plugin), and I'd like to take the email field of the locator dynammically into the form, so when people fills the form, the email gos directly to the locator's email. Can anybody give some help with this? How can I tell Chronoform that has to load the email of the location? Thanks a lot!!

Hi susawx,

How does the Locator Component make an email available? There's no mention of email on the page you linked to?

Yes! In the same page I embed the form (with the plugin) I have all the locator fields added to the template(name, description, address, email etc) and I get them between {}. For email is {email} . I ve tried to add {email} to the dynamic tab of the form, but of course, something is missing. Thanks!!

Hi susawx,

Hmmm . . . I don' think that will help :-( There is no easy way to pass parameters directly to ChronoForms through the plug-in; if the info was in the page URL or available to PHP somewhere then you could probably capture it.
