If I use Akeeba to back up my site, using both zip and jpa file formats, will it back up and save my forms.

Akeeba does save the tables, but just this a.m. I accidentally deleted a form. I used the restore button and happen to find a ckbak file from late last year (close enough). But none of the website backups I downloaded to my computer, unzipped, came up with any searches for ckbak.
Or maybe zipped files don't save forms, only the jpa download format through Akeeba. I will obviously need to ask them.
But may I ask you, where within a backup file would I actually find forms I created in ChronoForms?

Hi cicibar,
You won't find any cfbak files; but the forms are saved in the chronoforms database tables and it should be possible to reconstruct them from database backups. You'd need to find the jos_chrono_contact table and each record in that is one form.
There may also be some data in the jos_chrono_contact_plugins and jos_chrono_contact_emails tables. These are linked by the form id in the jos_chrono_contact table.
