Hi
After seeing Chronoforms EVERYWHERE I turn, I've decided to check it out. I've used a couple of other form solutions and this has always seemed a little bit more involved so I gave it a wide berth until I had more time... well, I don't have more time but I'm trying it anyway! So far so good.
I'm stuck though, and I've searched the forums unsuccessfully for a resolution. Here's my issue:
1) I have an "inquiry" form that visitors are expected to complete.
2) On submit, I would like a copy of the form to be emailed to the site admin with the "from" being the visitors email address as submitted in the form itself (i.e. dynamic)
3) On submit I would like a second email to be sent back to the visitor with the data that they just entered - again, the "to" address would be pulled from the form data
PROBLEM:
It appears, per the STATIC tab, that I must have a static "To" and "From" (and "Subject") email address... all required, which therefore means I can't do what I wanted to. On the DYNAMIC tab it appears I can enter a DYNAMIC "to" address using one of the form fields... does this add a second (and third... etc) email address to the "To" field of the email? It doesn't seem to be working that way. Then there's a bunch of other DYNAMIC field options... "Subject" "From" "Reply" etc. I can't figure out how these DYNAMIC optional entries work together with the STATIC required fields.
Am I going wrong somewhere? I can get emails sent if I fill in the required fields with valid entries but this doesn't help me get an email out to the submitter of the form. Is there some further explanation regarding this.
Beer money available for response... I would like to like Chronoforms... please help!

Hi zeusrw,
The hints are a bit misleading. You must have: To, Subject, From Name & From Email but each of these can be *either* Static or Dynamic.
That said I strongly recommend that you do not use the Dynamic From Email - it tends to get your emails marked as spam. Instead use the Static From Name & From Email using an address that matches your site domain; and the Dynamic Reply To Name & Reply To Email using input names from your form.
This combination still allows you to Click 'Reply To' and get the result you want.

PS I have an 'advanced' Email Action here that does away with the Static/Dynamic choice and allows you to either enter a fixed string user@example.com or an input name {email}; or both together user@example.com, {email}.
