Hi.

I have read through 18 pages of threads so I hope my challenge is not trivial.

I want to create a quite simpel form with some text fields and a submit button.

I use Joomla 1.6.3 and ChronoForms 4.0 RC1.8.

I created the first form and after adding a few fields it started giving a '500 - internal server error':

"Error 500: Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The problem is on the server side, not with your browser or the address. Most probably, a certain service (e.g., Tomcat engine) is down. Please contact your webmaster."

I created another form and again adding the first few fields went well so I started trying to debug based on the info I found in this forum:

db = mysqli
live_site = is filled out
all references to css in the form fields are blank.

I noticed that I get the error when clicking save after adding the 6.th element on both forms.

Am I missing something really simpel or did I miss a server requirement?

Hi Lasse,

There was one similar report yesterday with some problems saving forms but a different error otherwise I don't recall seeing this before. I can't think of any reason that ChronoForms admin would cause a server error in normal use.

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look and see if I can get a similar error.

Hi Lasse,

I tested in FF4, IE7 & IE9 and had no problem adding extra inputs and saving them :-(

Have you tried other browsers?
