Error in Multipage Form

mc-sim 06 Jan, 2011
Hello,

I am trying to create a Multi Page form without success. I performed the following steps:

1. Created a mother form named schetall, it is empty.
2. Created a form called schet1, just put one field in.
3. Created a form called schet2, just put one field in.
4. Created tables for schet1 and schet2.
5. Enabled Multi Page plugin on schetall form. In number of steps, selected 2. Step form names, I entered schet1,schet2. Finalize button name Go and nav and debugging set to yes.
6. Published all forms.

When I click on the mother form link, I get a blank page. If I click on the individual forms I see the fields. If I re-select the mother form and click Multi Page, a page that opens in the red box is displayed:
$params: JParameter Object ( [_raw] => debugging=0 onsubmit=before_email stepscount= formsnames= stepsnavigation=0 [_xml] => [_elements] => Array ( ) [_elementPath] => Array ( [0] => Z:\home\a-lab.name\www\libraries\joomla\html\parameter\element ) [_defaultNameSpace] => _default [_registry] => Array ( [_default] => Array ( [data] => stdClass Object ( [debugging] => 1 [onsubmit] => before_email [stepscount] => 2 [formsnames] => schet1,schet2 [stepsnavigation] => 0 [finalbuttonname] => Send ) ) ) [_errors] => Array ( ) )

what I did wrong?

plugin chronocontact in the Plugins tab is enabled, version plugin: V3.1 RC5.2, version of component Chrono Contact - V 3.2.

Thanks,

Hi mc-sim,

Please check that the plug-in is enabled on the form Plug-ins tab. A **green** bar is enabled and red is disabled. Please only enable the plug-ins you are actually using otherwise they may interfere with each other. Also check the plug-in order to make sure that makes sense -- you can drag the bars to change the order.

Maximum cut off unused plugins. And he lifted up chronocontact.

Generated forms are enabled (npublished). And when I select the parent form and click Multi Page, the page displays the message:

while trying to open the parent form - blank page:

Please help fix the problem!

Thanks

Hi mc-sim,

Please open the Form Editor by clicking the name of the Form in the Forms Manager, then Click the Plug-ins tab and . . .

Please check that the plug-in is enabled on the form Plug-ins tab. A **green** bar is enabled and red is disabled. Hi mc-sim,

You probably have the MooTools Upgrade Plugin enabled. This is an optional plug-in that enables the MooTools 1.2 library on your site.

ChronoForms (and many other Joomla! extensions) use the MooTools 1.1.2 library that is installed by default. The ChronoForms Wizard, and other back-end code will not run with the plugin enabled.

If you disable the plug-in then ChronoForms should run correctly.

If you need MooTools 1.2 in the front-end of your site then there is a hack for the plug-in posted in the forums here that will enable the 1.2 library in the front-end only. However the ChronoForms validation code and some other features will not work with this version.

There's a fuller "How-to Document" here that includes fixed files that will let the front-end of ChronoForms work with MooTools 1.2.
