I'm helping a friend with a Joomla conversion from .asp. I have everything working perfectly except a "Place Classified Ad" feature.
Explanation:
Form Page contains the following fields (Name, Email, Drop Box List(Ad Categories), Text Area(Text for Ad), Word Count, Total Dollar Amount and Submit/pay with(PayPal) button.
They way it works now:
Enter name and email, Choose Ad category from drop box, type ad - this counts the words being typed. There is a minimum fee of $5.00 for the first 15 words and .20 cents for each word after that.
Once finished typing the ad, the total dollar amount shows.
When the user clicks the Submit / Pay with PayPal button, the form information is mailed to a specific email address and then the user is redirected to PayPal checkout with the total amount from the form in the paypal amount field. The user finishes the paypal transaction as normal.
Can anyone help me with this?
I'm thinking that $100 to $200 would be a fair fee to pay for this custom script.
