Hi all!

I am using a custom community builder form to extend the Joomla user registration. Based on that registration info, I would like users to be able to subscribe to certain events via a chronoform linked to a chronodatabase.

Basically each time a user logs in, and subscribe for an event, the chronoform will just pull in the user's data from the registration and write it to the database related to the form. Basically I want to remove the hassle of writing full name, email and phone number again when subscribing for events.

Is this possible? Could you point me to some threads that may help.

YOu can get the Joomla User info form the User Object. Search here for 'getuser' for many examples. I'm not sure what you do for the CB info but I think that there is a similar CB_User object that some one posted about in the last week or so.

I am trying to configure CF to create a registration form for CB. The form is created and when submitted does/ should do the following:

1. Send email verification to new registrant - Works
2. Save data to a specified independent table in database - Works
3. Verify email and go to confirmation page when verification link in email is clicked - Works
4. Sync data with the CB comprofiler database - This does not work.

The plugin is enabled and I noticed that when configuring the CB plugin in CF only the fields marked positive or (1) for registration in CB are visible. Do all of the fields need to have content?

Please help if possible, I've been tinkering with this for months now on a live site to no avail.

Sorry, I don't use CB and I'm not sure what is happening. I did check a few months ago that the plug-in appeared to be working OK with a test CB installation (that was v1.2.1 of CB).

My recollection is that there are more recent CB posts here where users have succeeded in linking data OK.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the EXACT same problem with CB 1.8 and JOOMLA 2.5
