Hi,
Remove the {} from the form field names.
/Fredrik
Thanks for the tips. I'll remove {} for the project I work on now. Hope this will help.
Hi...having the same problem..
I've created two setup emails on the form admin
One that receive the data and one that give the info.
I've used in the second email setup a dynamic to, choosing the tag "email" wich refers to the email of the person who fill the form.
I've disposed the 2 different email templates but...
when i try the form to works properly.. it sends me and advice advise on the confirmation page that sais: "You must provide at least one recipient e-mail address."
Why?
The recipient e-mail address is the one that i've just set with the dynamic to...why don't function??
This what appear from debug. It seems that the dynamic to in the second mail is not registered..instead is in the array..whyy??? what can i do to solve this bug?

Hi fabiuz ,
It looks as though the first Email Setup has no 'From Email' and the second has no 'To Email'.
Please post a screenshot of the Email Setups here.
Bob
Hi XenEffect,
Please check the following:
a) That 'Send Emails' is set to 'Yes' on the Form General tab
b) That you have a valid Email Setup - if the box is green it's valid, red is invalid (see d below)
c) That you have set 'Enabled' to 'Yes' in the Email Setup Properties box
d) A valid Email Setup requires To, Subject, From Name and From Email elements (or the Dynamic equivalents) in the *same* setup box.
e) The element boxes must contain strings for the static elements or valid input names from the form for the Dynamic elements.
f) The To and From Email boxes must contain valid email addresses
g) The From Email address should match the Domain name.
h) The To email address should not be the same as the From Email address.
I strongly recommend that you do *not* use the Dynamic From Email element in your Email Setups. Using this often results in your emails being marked as spam and dropped into a spam filter. Instead use the static From Email with an address that matches the site domain name and use Dynamic ReplyTo Email for the user email. The result is the same but with a much better chance of good delivery.
Bob
Hi XenEffect,
By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
Bob
Hi XenEffect,
I turned DeBug on and the report shows the Email as Successfully sent. This means that ChronoForms has passed it to Joomla! and the Joomla! mailer has replied 'OK'. I copied the emails to myself and, like you, haven't received any.
My best guess is that your site mailer is not correctly configured. I did try switching from SendMail to PHP Mailer but that didn't seem to make any difference.
Bob
Hi XenEffect,
Yes that the most likely answer. Can your site send emails from any other extension?
Bob
Bob,
I am new to ChronoForms. I have to say, the Form Wizard is brilliant. After running the wizard, I thought, "Wow, I love this guy".
But, like the OP here, I had grief getting email to work. You can see from your own list of 8 rules above that there are many ways to go wrong. There must be a way that you could have a button like "Click here for simple Email Setup", which would populate the simplest version of the required fields. When first setting up, I just want the thing to work in the simplest way possible. In retrospect, like with most things, it's obvious, duh, you need a Subject and a From name and email...
Or that button could accordion a little box that says, just drag these 4 required fields to the left box.
Not that I am commending Acajoom, but they had a "beginner" mode that would show some help at the top of the screen until the first mailing list had been set up. Something like that might work here.
Anyway, Thanks. The Wizard was awesome, the Email Setup, less so.
Hi bc28001,

b) That you have a valid Email Setup - if the box is green it's valid, red is invalid (see d below)
c) That you have set 'Enabled' to 'Yes' in the Email Setup Properties box
d) A valid Email Setup requires To, Subject, From Name and From Email elements (or the Dynamic equivalents) in the *same* setup box.
e) The element boxes must contain strings for the static elements or valid input names from the form for the Dynamic elements.
f) The To and From Email boxes must contain valid email addresses

Hi fabiuz,
Which version of ChronoForms are you using? You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6.
