Hi Supprot
We are having an issue with the validation of a form. This is the first time in many moons that we have actually had one.

version: 3.0 STABLE
joomla version 1.5.15

Validation should be on all fields, but for some reason is not working.

If someone could guide us on sorting this out, I would be very greatful.

HI Matthew,

Looks like a JQuery conflict. If you view the form on it's own the validation is OK. You need to put JQuery into No Conflict mode and all should be OK.

PS I noticed that you're also using the older MooTools validation. This works fine but isn't the standard in the current ChronoForms release.

Thanks for your input, we found the issue with the script conflict..

Now all the forms are working smoothly.

we are using stable v3.0 as we have had issues with the latest release.

If you can give a few reasons why we should use the latest version, I would love to hear them...

If 3.0 Stable is working for you then there is no over-riding reason to change. I thought maybe you were using the MooTools validation with the later release.

We like the word stable in using systems.. makes us sleep better at night...

That's a question for Max - he's the developer. As far as I know he's waiting on Joomla 1.6 to pick up on some of the new features there. (Interesting post about Microsoft releasing code to improve IIS support for 1.6 recently.)

The current version is probably as stable as it is going to get.
